"To Disclose, or To Rescue, That is the Question" presented by Ed Alletto and Melanie DeLeon-Benham
This is a 2 hour continuing education webinar for American Sign Language Interpreters presented on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Description: This will be an interactive webinar that will suggest a broad range of resources and an analytical approach that the court interpreter can use to aid them in deciding when they have a duty to disclose their prior involvement with a case or a duty to refuse to accept a court interpreting assignment. It is the presenter's belief that ASL interpreters too often refuse court assignments based on an incomplete analysis of their duty under the Court's Code of Professional Responsibility.
Participants will earn 0.2 CEUs available through The Language Door - Activity# 0264-032-03
